Of exploration

I met people
Made friends
And fell in love
Collected experiences
Made mistakes
So many…
Life itself
Was my classroom
I learned...
From my successes
And my failures
I grew...
As a person
Wisdom is the windfall
I have no room
For cynicism
Resentment
Or anger
I’m grateful
To have traveled this far
To have met
So many amazing people
I have lost a few along the way
Well, more than a few
But I carry with me
Precious memories
I live in the present
And try not to look
Too far down the path
Wherever it takes me
I am prepared
My soul is my compass
Still more path before me
More to learn
More to experience
More to suffer, I’m afraid
But it's is all
Part of my journey
